Hi my name is Lucinda and my daughter, Charlotte and I want you to enjoy what we enjoy when we come to Kingston SE.

Kingston SE is the place to relax, unwind, recuperate, think and reflect.

Our destination is 9 is our home that is fully renovated and can sleep up to 8 people across 3 bedrooms.

Our home has been designed with holidaying in mind, where you have to do the bare minimum. You can put the dishes in a dishwasher, sit in an alfresco area and have a BBQ and beverage or two. Sit in air-conditioned comfort when South Australia is in a heat wave, watch some DVD’s that are stocked in our home. Should you wish to visit during the cooler months the  reverse cycle air-conditioning and heating will keep you comfortable no matter what the weather is outside.
At night you can sit back and watch the sunset from the open plan lounge and dining room with that quiet drink in hand.

Our home is on the “parade” and a short walk of only 1 ½ blocks to many of the amenities in the town. We usually walk everywhere, slap on the sunscreen, soak up the sun and take long walks along our beach just across the road, in search of fishing bait (cockles known to South Aussies, pipis for those from VIC).

There is no bumper to bumper traffic.   No long queues to grab a bite to eat.  Just get yourself some takeaway or pack your own picnic basket and eat on the foreshore, the jetty or drive your car along the beach to your picnic spot. The best part is your car doesn’t have to be a 4WD. You can drive for kilometers (approximately 18 of them) all the way to Cape Jaffa when the tide is out.
There are a variety of shops you can visit if you need a caffeine fix, a sweet fix that is the bakery or some retail therapy. Kingston SE has two local pubs, our closest is only 1 ½ blocks away. Being a responsible person, the car is always left at home.

Our pets usually come with us, Caramel the Chihuahua is one of our pets and is in one of the images on this site. The dogs just love to dig holes in the sand, wreck your sand castles and compete with the seagulls for food. When at home at Our Destination is 9, they can run around in a fully enclosed yard and play under the sprinklers. We are a pet-friendly home.
